It's going to be the back up for a while, even with the crack I don't know how reliable the new Boxxers are.

hey
yeah for the beginning of the trail i just started a ways back from the first jump kind of on the tranny of the drop-in. for speed i dunno, i would just try hitting the first one fairly fast and see how it feels as its pretty much the same as the second much bigger one except that its a different size, most of the jumps are pretty predictable as there not very steep so what you see is what you get. also remember its better to overshoot then undershoot Razz and if your nervous about the jumps i would just tackle them one at a time, sessioning each one as you go along and when your pretty confident on all of them then hit the trail all at once.
good luck!

It'doing pretty well, but I'm not supposed to bike yet. I can go for a little ride, but not full on downhill.

Wes-Barber wrote

Depends on the type of photography you want to do. Recreational once in awhile or fairly often trying to progress as much as possible. Best bet for Rec type would be the cheaper one since it will take you plenty far. If you really want to get serious go to the 20. I’ve never used anything higher then my 100 and personally won’t need to for awhile.

Hey, I used an automotive degreaser my dad had lying around. Orange....something. Though I'm sure any type would work. WD-40 could work as well, just make sure you only get it on the uppers.

Well I have an Aircast, I will eventually be able to walk. Not right now though, because I have a rod poking out the bottom of my foot, holding one of the bones together. In a few weeks, the doctor is just going to pull it out, then hopefully I can walk.

Well when I'm on two feet again, I am thinking about getting a Norco Five, they look sick. I'm hoping I can get an easy job at a gas station or something.

Well I was at Sidney skatepark on thursday, and i gapped the pyramid and went a bit too far. I was going to land on flat, so I put my foot down to brace the impact. It didn't seen that hard, but I broke 4 bones, went in for surgery, need a cast for at least 8 weeks.

I bought retail in a store called Lens and Shutter. Not sure if you have one there but its a great store.
If you ever consider a camera, really look into the Pentax ones as I said before the lenses from the past work on the current bodies which saves you a ton in the time being!

Wes-Barber wrote
Apr 28, 2008 at 16:55
Yeah, the K20 is the highest model. And I must say one of my favorite cameras!
It's like a 12 megapixel or something. All the features you could imagine with that price tag that makes your smile go upside down haha

Wes-Barber wrote
Apr 25, 2008 at 20:55
Well, the K10 is a 8MP version with a few extras but A few bucks more.
Personally I like the K100D just as good and so far have been loving every moment with it.
On this link http://flickr.com/photos/wbarber/
I will probably have updated photos every friday or so as I have limited space to upload there.

Wes-Barber wrote

Honestly, before I got this I really wanted a D40. I thought it was the god starter DSLR but after I felt both I though " Wow, I'm glad I went with the Pentax.".
The body feels so much better in my hands, I can use any lens from any year and all around is cheaper.

Wes-Barber wrote

Thanks alot! I really liked that shot to, I have a head lamp to the left of it and I though that if I used that for lighting that it could make a really cool shot.
The camera is really awesome and the body was 477.78 in total plus I bought some old used lenses so about 600 Canadian. Not extremely expensive which I was really happy about.

Wes-Barber wrote

Got my k100D today.
And Ive got a pentax 35-105mm, 28-80 and a sigma 100-300.
Id love to get a faster long lens as my sigma isn't very fast

Wes-Barber wrote
Apr 15, 2008 at 15:07
Yeah its sweet since some of the older lenses are just as good as the new just cost half of what the new ones do.

Wes-Barber wrote

I don't, nor have I ever listened to any.

I just enjoy the hand crafted quality of them.

I have Icemat Siberia ear buds personally, they are plenty powerful enough for me, highs are a little too powerful, nothing an equalizer doesn't fix though.
